Annual Racing Fraternity Mass - Sunday 11 September 2022

People from all facets of Sydney racing are invited to attend the 2022 Annual Sydney Racing Fraternity Mass.

The Racing Mass, to be held on Sunday 11 September, 2022 at 11am, is attended by people of all denominations and by people who are non-churched, representing all sections of the racing industry and is offered for the well-being of the racing industry as a whole.

The Australian Turf Club has given great support to this event over the years and many of the 2022 Spring Carnival trophies, including a number of other symbols, will be included in the procession.

Prayers are offered for those who are sick and included in the items in the procession and eventually left at the altar is a special jockeys’ bereavement book with the names of every jockey who has lost his or her life in Australian racing since the beginning of records.

People from all walks of life and faiths are very, very welcome to come and refreshments will be served following the Mass.

ANNUAL SYDNEY RACING FRATERNITY MASS Date: Sunday 11 September 2022 – commencing at 11am Venue: The Ballroom, Level 2, Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand Royal Randwick Racecourse 

Please note: Vehicle entry is via the gate on Ascot Street (cnr Doncaster Avenue). Parking is free in the multi-story car park. Use the undercover walkway on Level 1 of the carpark to enter the QEII Grandstand.
